Darlene H. Carpenter is a native Virginian and has lived and worked in the rural area of Madison and Culpeper Counties since 1964.  Darlene has traveled extensively, but finds no place as beautiful and serene as the area where she lives and works.  She enjoys antique shops, auctions, the mountains, fishing, reading, volunteerism, and of course, her family.

 

Darlene spent more than thirty years in banking with emphasis on outstanding customer service, teamwork, and service to the community.  During her banking career, her branches won many awards for loan production, including mortgage loans, customer service and branch performance, but she will quickly tell you that dealing with her clients was the most rewarding of all. 

Darlene serves her community through many clubs and associations including Culpeper Chamber of Commerce, Madison Emergency Services, and many committees. She is also a Director for Rappahannock Electric Cooperative and CFC, the bank for cooperatives, and is a past president of the Culpeper Chamber.
